Thanks to the lengthy experience built in over 15 years of international career, Davide Fore is one of the pilots who always set the fastest laps. He clearly demonstrated his ability again by reaching the pole position, at the second round of the European KF1 Championship in Belgium. A few technical problems during the race did not prevent the Maranello pilot from reaching the top 5.

In the space of three weeks, Davide Fore went to Mariembourg twice. On 7 and 8 June, it was for the fourth meeting of the WSK. The Italian pilot set the best time in the two timed sessions and was therefore admitted to the Super Pole. 4th after the qualifying heats, he did a remarkable pre-final. "I pushed very hard during the whole race and I managed to finish 3rd, so I started from the inside of the second row in the final. I really hoped I could fight for victory. Together with the Maranello mechanics, we have found an excellent set-up and Maxter engines have really been very competitive since the start of the season. Unfortunately, a piece of the front brake control broke and I could no longer follow the pace. I could barely save the 10th position".

Really determined to take his revenge at the European Championship, Davide showed all his motivation by setting the best absolute time in timed qualifying. "It is very exciting when you prepare your material to reach perfection and you focus on driving a perfect lap. I am very pleased with this pole position. It is also a way to thank all the people who have put their trust in me throughout the season".

Davide conquered a nice 2nd place in his first heat, but then an engine problems due to the electric system pushed him back in the second heat. "I started from the 4th row in Race 1 so things got more complicated, but I fought hard to regain the 5th position”. In Race 2, Fore continued his progression at the wheel of his Maranello-Maxter. He passed the Finnish driver Laine to gain the 4th place, then went on to conquer the podium. Unfortunately, his momentum stopped when the engine broke. "My motor engine mechanic will dismantle the engine to see what happened", Davide declared on Sunday evening. "On the one hand, I am a bit disappointed because I lost a few points, but on the other, I know that our equipment has a huge potential, so I feel optimistic. I conquered the World Cup in Japan in May and I am certain that we will have more opportunities to win again".
